Fight at 220 leads to stripping, spitting at cops

Birmingham police were dispatched to a fight in progress between two men at a local restaurant around midnight on Friday, June 19. Officers arrived at 220 E. Merrill Street where the two men, both intoxicated, were pushing and screaming at each other. One of the men fighting stripped down to his underwear and spit at the police. The 31-year-old from Washington Township was arrested for disorderly conduct.
