Drunk woman hits brick wall and home

Birmingham police were dispatched to Brown and Southfield Road on Saturday, June 27, where a vehicle had struck a brick wall and home in the 500 block of Southfield and then left the scene. The vehicle and driver, a 27-year-old woman from Taylor, were found by police. They determined the driver was operating under the influence of alcohol. Birmingham police arrested her and issued a citation for operating while intoxicated.
