Credit, debit cards stolen from resident's car

Bloomfield Township police responded to the 42000 block of Woodward Avenue on Sunday, July 19, after a call was made regarding items stolen from a vehicle. The township resident told police that he had parked his 2014 Ford Focus in front of his residence on Sunday, July 19 approximately at midnight. He then returned to his car at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday morning, and found the car doors unlocked, the interior overhead lights on, and his wallet missing from the center console, which had his personal identification and multiple credit cards. He called the police later in the day to report someone had used one of his credit cards to buy several purchases from Ebay. Multiple cash withdrawals were taken from his debit card, which had the PIN written on the back. Bloomfield Township police are investigating.
