Women have a taste for free tequila

Birmingham police were dispatched to the Mobil gas station at 1065 E. Maple Avenue, around 10 p.m. on Monday, August 10 regarding the theft of a bottle of alcohol. Witnesses told police that two women had walked into the liquor area of the gas station, where one took a bottle of Patron tequila, and then put it in her black and white tote bag. The duo left in a small white Chevy sedan with a Texas plate. Birmingham police are investigating.
