Truck stolen from gas station later found

A man who left his truck behind the BP Gas Station onTelegraph Road in Bloomfield Township came back to find it stolen on Tuesday, August 18. The victim told police that he had parked his 2003 Chevrolet pickup truck unlocked and behind the gas station, located at 4099 Telegraph Road, around 3 p.m. The windows were rolled down and the keys had been left in the cup holder. After an hour-and-a-half, he came back and discovered his vehicle was missing. The truck was later found, unoccupied and with the keys, by the Flint Township police department that same evening. The case remains under investigation.
