Cigarettes, vape items stolen from gas station

Birmingham police were dispatched to the Shell Gas Station, 33588 Woodward Avenue, regarding a smashed window and stolen items on Monday, August 31. The window of the gas station had been smashed with a rock. Store employees reported that multiple packs of cigarettes and vape products were missing from the shelves of the store. A witness described the suspect to police as a black man wearing a black skull cap, gray face mask, and silver Nike shoes. He was seen driving a silver Saturn Vue. Birmingham police are currently investigating.
