Man hides booze in jacket in drug store theft

Bloomfield Township police are looking for a white male who was seen concealing bottles of liquor in his coat and then taking off from the Rite Aid store at Woodward and Square Lake Road around 1 p.m. on Wednesday, November 4. A store employee at the Rite Aid store, 42931 Woodward Avenue, reported to police they saw the man conceal several bottles of liquor in his jacket and then leave the store without paying. The suspect is described as a white male around 50 years old, about 5-feet, 10-inches tall, with shaggy hair and a gray beard. He was wearing a gray puffy coat with a hood. The case is under investigation by the Bloomfield Township Police Department, and anyone with information is asked to call 248.422.7755.
