$6,000 sunglasses stolen at auto dealership

A pair of gold designer sunglasses were allegedly stolen from a vehicle being serviced on Thursday, June 10, at a Bloomfield Township auto dealership, police said.


Bloomfield Township police responded about 5 p.m. to Mercedes of Bloomfield Hills, 36600 Woodward Avenue, for a theft report from a vehicle that was being serviced. The owner told police he had left his gold Cartier sunglasses in the vehicle and that someone stole them. The glasses were valued at $6,000.


Police investigators are reviewing video from the dealership’s security cameras.
