While a Birmingham woman was out of town the weekend of Friday, August 29, an Amazon package that had been delivered to her front porch on the 1000 block of Pines Street was stolen.
The woman came back on Sunday, August 31, to find the package missing and filed a report with Birmingham police. Birmingham police report that witnesses saw a man approach the porch, take the package and walk away.
An investigation is ongoing, police said.
