Angry motorcyclist causes auto damage

Officers were dispatched to the Birmingham police station lobby on Saturday, August 31, at 10:00 to write up a report on property damage.

A Royal Oak resident, a 51-year-old female victim, stated she was driving down Woodward Avenue near Bowers. She noticed a group of motorcyclists driving at a high rate of speed who were getting angry at slower traffic that was not getting out of their way. One of the motorcyclists then smashed the victim’s side mirror with his fist.

An investigation is ongoing.
