Annual Best Burger contest starts October 1

The BirminghamBURGER event is back for its third year, highlighting the creativity, talent, and flavor of downtown Birmingham’s top restaurants starting next Thursday, October 1 and running until the end of the month.

Chefs will once again fire up their grills to deliver one-of-a-kind burgers during this ultimate showdown, and patrons will determine who will earn the title of Birmingham’s Best Burger.

Nearly 20 participating restaurants will bring their culinary vision to life, each offering a limited-time burger available exclusively during the month of October. Options range from vegetarian and shrimp to creative beef favorites, with something for every burger lover. Burger prices start at $14 and vary by restaurant. 

Participating restaurants include Adachi, Besos, Birmingham Pub, Casa Pernoi, e Fiori Ristorante, Elie’s Mediterranean Grill and Bar, Employee Meal, Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, Hazel’s, La Strada Italian Kitchen & Bar, Luxe Bar & Grill, Market North End, Rugby Grille, Sal’s, Social Kitchen & Bar, Streetside Seafood, Tallulah Wine Bar & Bistro, and Terra Kitchen & Cocktails.

Following the event, when all the ratings are in, both a people’s choice and judges’ choice trophy will be awarded, along with the title of Birmingham’s Best Burger.
