A Birmingham police officer was dispatched to a home in the 2400 block of Northlawn on Saturday, September 27, where a 55-year-old male homeowner reported that an area rug valued at $350 was taken from the bed of his truck,
The reported theft took place the previous day while the homeowner unloaded items from the truck into the home between 5 and 6 p.m.
Birmingham police say an investigation is ongoing.
