A Pontiac woman was arrested in Birmingham the afternoon of Friday, February 6, after allegedly attempting to steal nearly $300 worth of items from a grocery store on the 600 block of E. Maple.

When officers arrived at the store, they arrested the woman, later to find she had multiple outstanding warrants issued for her arrest from different cities. Police reported the woman was eventually released to the Royal Oak Police Department.
