Attempt to steal F150 pick up truck discovered

A resident living in the 6900 block of Telegraph Road in Bloomfield Township came out on the morning of Thursday, January 25, to discover that the rear taillights on his Ford F150 pick up truck were missing.

Upon further investigation of the vehicle, the victim discovered that the floorboard panel of the truck had been removed and wires were exposed. Bloomfield Township police believe that someone had attempted to steal the vehicle.

The crime is currently being investigated by the Bloomfield Township Investigations Unit. Anyone with any information is encouraged to contact the Bloomfield Township Police Department at 248.433. 7755.
