A backpack containing a work laptop was taken from what appears to have been an unlocked vehicle in the 600 block of E. Fox hills Drive in Bloomfield Township.

The Bloomfield Township Police Department on Friday, August 15, took a report for larceny from an automobile. The victim told officers that he parked his vehicle the night prior, around 8 p.m., leaving his backpack inside. When the victim returned to his vehicle, his backpack containing his work laptop was missing. Police said there were no signs of forced entry and the victim believes he left his vehicle unlocked.

The case was turned over to the Bloomfield Township Police Investigations Unit and is currently under investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Bloomfield Township Police Department at 248.433.7755.
