Bedding the target for women at township store

Two women went in empty-handed and left with over $200 while shoplifting bedding at At Home in Bloomfield Township.

Store personnel informed Bloomfield Township police on Monday, May 29, that two women entered the store at 2101 S. Telegraph Road empty-handed, then concealed a comforter and mattress pad valued at $222.58. The two women then went to the register and requested a no receipt refund for the total of $222.58 with tax, which they received before leaving the store.

The two black women were seen leaving in a brown Chrysler 200.
