Bicycle stolen from Birmingham YMCA

A boy’s bicycle was stolen on Sunday, January 9, while left unlocked against a wall at the Birmingham YMCA, at 400 East Lincoln Street, police said.


Birmingham police responded about 5 p.m. on Sunday to speak to a 15-year-old Birmingham resident. The boy said he left the bike against a wall and went inside the building about 4 p.m. He returned about 5 p.m. to find the bike missing.


The bicycle was described as a black and yellow Schwinn.


Birmingham police are investigating.
