Bicycle stolen from Whole Foods employee

An employee at the Birmingham Whole Foods store, 2100 E. Maple Road, reported to police that when he came out of work on Sunday, July 10, he discovered his bicycle had been stolen.

The victim, who reported the incident to Birmingham police around 7 p.m., said he had locked his bicycle, a 2021 navy blue Co-op REI, in the bike rack at Whole Foods before his shift, and when he came out, it was gone.

The officer checked the area for the bike and the lock, but could not locate either.

There are no witnesses or suspects at this time.
