Bike locked to rack stolen from local home

A 54-year old Birmingham resident reported his bike had been stolen from his residence in the 700 block of Forest Avenue, on Thursday, September 1.


The man filed a report with the Birmingham Police Department stating that his bike, which was locked with a cable lock that appeared to have been cut, was stolen from his residence. A witness told police they had seen the suspect, described as black male wearing a blue hat and clothing with a face mask and sunglasses, walk towards the bike and ride away on it.


Birmingham police report there are no additional witnesses or subjects at this time. They are investigating.
