Bike stolen from local coffee shop

:

A Bloomfield resident had his bike stolen from a bike rack on the 1000 block of N. Old Woodward in Birmingham around Thursday, May 16, after he said he locked it on the rack to go to work at a nearby coffee shop.

According to the police report, the victim said he locked his bike to the rack outside the coffee shop and left shortly after going inside, but he left his bike locked to the rack. The victim said he came back two days later and saw that his bike was missing. He didn’t file a police report until three days later.

Birmingham police said an investigation is ongoing.
