Birmingham Fair returns this weekend

The Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber's 58th Birmingham Village Fair returns to the streets surrounding Birmingham's Shain Park this weekend, Thursday, June 1, through Sunday, June 4.

The Village Fair will take over Birmingham’s Shain Park and all of the streets nearby as Tilt-a-Whirl, the carousel, ferris wheel, fun slide, and so many more carnival rides populate the city to entertain kids of all ages.

The four-day event features carnival rides, games and food and benefits more than 15 local nonprofits.

The fair is open on Thursday, June 1, from 2-10 p.m.; Friday, June 2, 12-11 p.m.; Saturday, June 3, 11 a.m.-11p.m.; and Sunday, June 4, 12-9 p.m.

Presale wristbands are available for purchase, with some restrictions. Wristbands are $30 at the fair for unlimited rides, with purchase at the park.

The Birmingham Village Fair is sponsored by Michigan United Credit Union, The Montessori School of Rochester, The Noble, and Mac Foods Group - Little Caesars.
