Birmingham presents outdoor movie nights

Blankets, popcorn and the movies! Join the Birmingham Shopping District (BSD) as it once again hosts its popular outdoor Movie Night series at Booth Park on select Friday nights for family-friendly entertainment.


You'll want to grab your blankets and chairs and find a perfect spot at Birmingham's Booth Park on Friday, June 10, July 15, August 12, and September 16 for a fun and fabulous evening under the stars. The pre-show entertainment begins at 6:30 p.m. and new and special this year, all of the movies will be shown on an ultra-bright LED screen beginning at 7:30 p.m. Movie Night events are free and include complimentary treats and giveaways, as supplies last.


On June 10, the movie shown is scheduled to be Sing 2.Pre-show entertainment includes creative movement activities for all ages courtesy of Lil’ Dumplins, sponsor booths and more.


On July 15, the movie is Home Alone (“Christmas in July”). Pre-show entertainment includes interactive yoga for all ages courtesy of Born Yoga, sponsor booths and more.


On August 12, be sure to catch Moana. Pre-show entertainment includes a visit from your favorite Island Princess, sponsor booths and more.


The last movie night, on September 16, will feature Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.


In the event of inclement weather, Movie Nights will be held the following day (Saturday). Be sure to check the BSD's Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages for updates.
