Birmingham tax, utility bills easier to pay online

The city of Birmingham transitioned to billing services by InvoiceCloud at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 14, with the goal of providing easy, secure and automated billing and paying for residents.

Beginning around 11 a.m. on December 14, residents may access the new payment portal via a link on the City's website at bhamgov.org/paymybill. In addition to ease of use, residents will be able to create an InvoiceCloud account, set up auto-pay, and receive email notifications regarding bills, receipts and more.

InvoiceCloud will make it easier than ever to pay utility, tax and other bills online to the city of Birmingham. InvoiceCloud provides simple, secure e-bill presentment and online payment solutions that improve customer engagement and increase e-payment adoption. By automating billing and payment, customers can click and pay online while helping the environment by reducing the need for paper.

In addition to the easy to use online InvoiceCloud service, check payments may also be placed into either of the two drop boxes located behind City Hall.
