Birmingham woman defrauded at ATM

A woman from Birmingham lost $500 on Tuesday, May 2, after she left her bank card in the ATM at the Comerica Bank drive-thru at 33101 Woodward Avenue.


According to witnesses, a vehicle pulled up to the ATM after the woman left and used her card to take $500 from her bank account. Fortunately, Comerica Bank reportedly refunded the victim the full amount.


According to Birmingham police, an investigation is ongoing.
