Bloomfield Hills woman arrested at Target

Bloomfield Township police made an arrest on Sunday, March 29, for retail fraud at the Target located at 2400 S. Telegraph Road in the township.
At approximately 4 p.m., the Bloomfield Township Police Department was dispatched to Target for a retail fraud (price tag switching) in progress. Officers were told the suspect was a Black female dressed in a black shirt, white pants, holding a Gucci bag and a large plastic bag. She was trying to leave the location in a white Mercedes Benz. Officers located her in the parking garage, according to the report.
The suspect had switched the price tag on OxiClean dishwasher tabs, Cottonelle toilet paper, a bed comforter set and two shower mats totaling approximately $150. The suspect, a 36-year-old female from Bloomfield Hills, was subsequently arrested for retail fraud misrepresentation 3rd degree.
She was issued a citation and released from the scene pending a court date. police said.
