Bottles thrown at driver in road rage incident

While driving on northbound Pierce Street in Birmingham the night of Friday, May 22, an Oak Park couple were involved in a road rage incident during which another driver threw two bottles at their car.
The couple told Birmingham police that they left the Pierce Street parking garage and were driving along Pierce Street when an SUV started honking and threw a bottle toward them. They said the SUV later passed them and threw another bottle that hit the driver’s side door.
Birmingham police report an investigation is ongoing.
