BRRmingham Blast set for next Saturday

The annual BRRmingham Blast is scheduled for next Saturday, January 24, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., certain to attract visitors of all ages to enjoy the Fly Wire Zip Line, a 300-foot zip line, one of the longest mobile zip lines in Michigan, magic shows, marshmallow roasting, inflatable axe throwing, and more.
The free event, sponsored by the Birmingham Shopping District, will take place in the heart of downtown Birmingham, along South Old Woodward Avenue from Maple Road to Brown Street. Convenient. Free parking is available in the 333 Pierce Street and the 222 Peabody Street municipal garages.
Zip line participants must weigh a minimum of 40 lbs. and a maximum of 225 lbs. and be at least 6 years of age to ride. The line for this attraction will close early to accommodate all riders before the end of the event.
There will also be food trucks offering a variety of savory favorites and warm sweets for purchase, including Cousins Maine Lobster, The Little Donut Factory, Pull on This Chimney Cakes, Golden Coffee, That’s Dat Food Truck, Impasto, and more.
Complimentary magic shows will take place at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
