While parked in his apartment complex’s parking lot overnight between Monday, May 18, and Tuesday, May 19, a Birmingham resident had his car broken into and a bag stolen.

According to the resident, he parked his car in the parking lot of the complex, located on the 1000 block of N. Adams, around 6:30 p.m. He came back the next morning around 11 a.m. to find that his car had been searched through, items were moved around and a bag was missing.

Birmingham police report an investigation is ongoing.
