Car stolen from Birmingham residence

A Birmingham woman had her vehicle stolen sometime on Thursday March 4, while parked in front of her home in the 600 block of Chapin, police said.

Birmingham police responded about 11:45 p.m. to the area where the victim told an officer she parked her vehicle in the street in front of her residence about noon the previous day. She said she noticed about 11:30 p.m. on Thursday that the vehicle was missing.

Police said the woman had both sets of keys to the vehicle and that all payments were up to date.

The case is under investigation.
