Car stolen from driveway of Birmingham home

After parking his car in the driveway of his home on the 800 block of Kennesaw in Birmingham around 10 p.m. on Saturday, December 23, a 59-year-old resident found his car missing the next morning on Sunday, December 24, at around 9 a.m.

The victim told police that he possibly left the keys in the car, but the car was definitely locked using the external keypad. Witnesses reported seeing the vehicle being taken from the home at around 5 a.m. Christmas Eve morning.

Birmingham police included in a report that no signs of forced entry were observed at the scene, and an investigation is ongoing.
