A Birmingham resident living on the 1000 block of S. Bates St woke up to a surprise on Wednesday, November 19, after someone had stolen his car from his driveway overnight.Â
The resident told Birmingham police officers that he had parked the car in his driveway around 8 p.m. the night before, leaving the car unlocked and the keys in the cupholder.
Birmingham police report an investigation is ongoing.
