Car struck with object on East Maple Road

As she was driving on East Maple Road east of South Old Woodward in Birmingham on Thursday, June 6, around 7:30 p.m. a woman and her grandchildren claimed that their car was hit by a yellow object.

The object struck the vehicle near the front passenger window and mirror.

The woman and her grandchildren told Birmingham police that none of them saw someone throw the object, but damage was done to the outside of the car.

Police said they are investigating.
