Two cars were reportedly broken into the night between Sunday, May 17, and Monday, May 18, with a wallet, an iPad and the keys to one of the cars still missing.

The owners of the cars reported to Birmingham police that they left both cars unlocked and parked in the driveway of the home, located on the 800 block of Abbey Road, overnight. They said they noticed the items were missing as they were leaving for work.

Birmingham police report an investigation is ongoing, however the wallet and iPad reportedly showed activity in Detroit following the incident.
