Cash reported missing from shopper’s purse

A woman has filed a Bloomfield Township police report on Friday, November 28, of the theft of $1,551 from her purse while she was shopping at Hollywood Market at 1525 Opdyke Road in the township.


The victim stated that she entered the store with $1551 cash in her purse at approximately

3:10 p.m. When she went to check out, approximately 3:30 p.m., she discovered that her purse was

unclasped and the money was gone.


The victim stated that she never took her purse off her shoulder and nothing else was missing from inside the purse. This case is currently under investigation.
