Catalytic converter stolen from Ford Fusion

A catalytic converter was reported stolen from an auto in the 400 block of S. Foxhills in Bloomfield Township on Tuesday, February 24.

Bloomfield Township police the victim stated that within the last two weeks his catalytic converter was stolen off of his Ford Fusion. The exhaust pipe showed two fresh cut marks where the converter would typically be located. The oxygen sensor wire was hanging beneath the vehicle.

The case was turned over to the Bloomfield Township Investigation’s Unit and is currently under review. Anyone with any information is urged to contact the Bloomfield Township Police Department at 248.433.7755.
