A member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church had the catalytic converter taken off his vehicle while he was in the church.

On Thursday, May 7, at approximately 12:30 a.m., the Bloomfield Township Police Department was dispatched to the church at 43816 Woodward Avenue for a larceny from auto report.

The victim, a member of the church, reported that while they were inside the church their catalytic converter was stolen off of their 2000 Chevrolet Cavalier.

The case was turned over to the Bloomfield Township Investigations Unit and is currently under investigation.
