Catalytic converters stolen from buses on Midvale

Two buses parked at 2121 Midvale in Birmingham on Thursday, November 16, had the catalytic converters removed overnight.

The Midvale site is the location of Birmingham NEXT and the Birmingham Public Schools Early Childhood Center, and is owned by Birmingham Public Schools.

The individual who made the complaint told Birmingham police that the buses were driven the day before the theft.

Birmingham police said an investigation is underway.
