Chamber music concert at township library

The Bloomfield Township Public Library, along with the University of Michigan School of Music, Theater and Dance, will present an evening of chamber music at the library on Friday, November 19, at 7 p.m.


The concert will feature selected movements from piano trios by Mendelssohn, Babajanian, Smetana, and Schubert, performed by University of Michigan musicians as part of the Student Chamber Music Series.


This concert’s artists are Andres Ayerbe, Christopher Josin Chan, Ji-Hyang Gwak, Emily Hauer, Bronwyn James, Sarah Jin, Ben Maxwell, Kevin Sung, Jacob Wang. The SMTD Faculty Coordinator for the concert is Dr. Amy I-Lin Cheng.


This concert is free, open to everyone, and no registration is required. Masks are required of all attendees, regardless of vaccination status. Friends of the Library are sponsoring this event. Volunteers will be in attendance selling classical music CDs before and after the performance.
