Chamber music event at library canceled

An evening of chamber music at the Bloomfield Township Public Library on Friday, November 19, at 7 p.m. has been canceled due to the rising cases of COVID-19 in Michigan.

The free event was to have been a joint presentation between the Bloomfield Township Public Library along with the University of Michigan School of Music, Theater and Dance. However, due to the rising number of cases of COVID-19, library administration and the library's board of trustees made the decision to cancel the event to ensure the safety of community members, performers and library staff.

The Chamber Music at the Library concert series is scheduled to continue with performances in January and March 2022. The library will continue to keep the community informed of any changes as these dates approach.
