Child pornographer arrested in township

Kenneth Roger Davies

Bloomfield Township police arrested Kenneth Roger Davies of Bloomfield Township on Thursday, November 2, after finding a hidden flash drive with thousands of images containing child sexually abusive material in his residence in the 2000 block of S. Telegraph Road.

Davies was arraigned the same day at the 48th District Court. He was given a $150,000 cash bond and is currently lodged at the Oakland County Jail.

Police were made aware that Davies may have been in possession of child pornographic material in September, which is when the case was turned over to the Bloomfield Township Investigations Unit.

From there, the detective assigned to the case obtained a search warrant of Davies’ home, where they discovered the hidden flash drive. The contents of the flash drive and other electronic devices were transferred to the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force for full examination.

The Oakland County Prosecutor’s Office issued a six-count arrest warrant for aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material after receiving the report.
