City restaurant patron punched by stranger

While sitting at a restaurant table on the 200 block of E. Merrill St in Birmingham on Saturday, February 3, a man from Shelby Township was allegedly approached by a stranger and punched in the face.


The victim told Birmingham police that the suspect came up and hit him unprovoked.


Police said an investigation is ongoing.
