Clothes taken from dryer at laundromat

An individual’s clothes were reported stolen from the Birmingham Laundromat, located at 1194 Grant Street in Birmingham, after a suspect was seen taking the laundry from the dryer.


Birmingham police were dispatched to the laundromat on Friday, September 2, to take a larceny report. A witness reported seeing a subject remove the victim’s laundry from the dryer and leave the laundromat. The victim had also reported being away from the building while the incident occurred. However there are no additional witnesses or suspects at this time according to the police.


The items stolen from the laundromat were valued at around $300-$400.


Birmingham police are investigating.
