Common Ground Art Fair this weekend

Enjoy the forecasted beautiful weather this weekend at downtown Birmingham's celebrated Common Ground's 48th Annual Birmingham Street Art Fair, which will take place in and around Shain Park, Saturday, September 17, and Sunday, September 18.


2022 marks 48 artful years of Common Ground's Birmingham's Street Art Fair, which enjoys more than 80,000 fairgoers attending annually. Approximately 100 jury-selected artists will fill Shain Park and the streets adjacent to the park with ceramics, jewelry, paintings, drawings, sculpture, glass works, leather, fiber and fabrics, mixed media, wood, photography and digital art and more.


The fair includes a silent art tent filled with artwork to bid on, benefitting Common Ground.


There is a children's activity area, food vendors and entertainment.


The art fair is open Saturday, September 10 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, September 18, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
