Common Ground Art Fair this weekend


Enjoy the forecasted beautiful weather this weekend at downtown Birmingham's celebrated Common Ground's 49th Annual Birmingham Street Art Fair, which will take place in and around Shain Park, Saturday, September 23, and Sunday, September 24.


This year marks 49 years of thee Common Ground's Birmingham's Street Art Fair, which enjoys more than 80,000 fairgoers attending annually. One hundred jury-selected artists will fill Shain Park and the streets adjacent to the park with ceramics, jewelry, paintings, drawings, sculpture, glass works, leather, fiber and fabrics, mixed media, wood, photography and digital art and more.


The art fair is open Saturday, September 23, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, September 24, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
