Construction equipment stolen from job site

Police are investigating the theft of a skid-steer loader on Monday, November 1, taken from a Birmingham job site in the 1700 block of Banbury.


Birmingham police responded about 11:38 a.m. to the area, where the victim said his new skid-steer loader was stolen from the job site. The victim, a 69-year-old man and owner of a landscaping company, told police the loader was last seen on Thursday, October 28, about 5:30 p.m., and was missing on the morning of Monday, November 1.


The loader was valued at $35,000.
