Birmingham police are investigating a report of counterfeit money after the manager of a downtown hotel reported someone had used two counterfeit $100 bills on Wednesday, June 3, at the hotel’s restaurant.Â
The manager said the bills looked real but there was text that stated they were intended for motion picture use only.
Birmingham police say there are no suspects currently but an investigation is ongoing.
