Crash involving pedestrian under investigation

Bloomfield Township police on Friday, January 2, at approximately 11:52 p.m., responded to the parking lot of CVS located at 4101 Telegraph Road for a serious injury crash.

Traffic investigation officers were called to the scene and investigated a crash involving a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle.

The driver of the motor vehicle, a 68-year-old male resident of Bloomfield, remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation, police said.

The pedestrian, a 70-year-old female resident of Bloomfield, was transported to Trinity Oakland Hospital with serious injuries.

This crash is currently under investigation by members of the Bloomfield Township Police Department’s Traffic Investigation Unit. Any witnesses of the crash are asked to contact the Bloomfield Township Police Department at 248.433.7755.
