Credit card taken from unlocked automobile

A credit card taken from an unlocked vehicle on Wooddale Road in Bloomfield Township on Sunday, August 16, was put to use at a gas station outside the community.

Police said the victim advised that their vehicle had been gone through the night prior. They reported their wallet and keys had been stolen from inside. The vehicle was parked in the driveway, unlocked, with the key fob left inside.

The victim’s credit card was used at a gas station out of the area. The case was turned over to the Bloomfield Township Police Investigations Unit and is currently under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Bloomfield Township Police Department at 248.433.7755.
