Credits cards, cash taken from parked car

A Birmingham resident reported her vehicle was broken into during the overnight hours on Wednesday, May 25, with cash, credit and gift cards stolen.


The 24-year-old female resident told officers her vehicle was broken into while it was parked on Washington Boulevard overnight. She was not sure if the vehicle was locked, but there were no signs of forced entry.


Several items were stolen from her vehicle, including cash, credit and gift cards. The woman reported her credit card was used for several transactions in Highland Park before it was canceled.


Birmingham police report there are no suspects or witnesses at this time.
