The CVS store at 42934 Woodward Avenue in Bloomfield Township has reported theft of health and beauty items from the location on Wednesday, April 23.

The CVS manager reported that a woman came into the store and walked directly to the health and beauty aisle. Once there, the woman selected multiple perfumes, throat sprays and various personal items and concealed them in her bag. The woman proceeded to walk past all points of sale without paying for the items, exited the store and fled the area in a red crossover type vehicle.

The suspect is described as a heavy-set black female wearing a white t-shirt and grey sweatpants. The suspect stole 19 items totaling $225.11.

This case was turned over to the Bloomfield Township Investigations unit and is currently under investigation. Anyone with information is urged to call Bloomfield Township at 248.433.7755.
